Shannon and Rich Salvestrin: Owners
Nestled in famous Napa Valley, our family has been growing wine grapes on our historic St. Helena vineyard since 1932. Originally planted in 1860 by Dr. George Crane, three generations of the Salvestrin Family have meticulously and sustainably farmed this historic vineyard for 80 years. Being sensitive to the environment and the surrounding community by following organic guidelines, we consistently create handcrafted wines that are fruit forward, elegant, balanced, and memorably world class.
We invite you to learn more about our exceptional wines, by joining us on this fabulous wine cruise where we can spend time getting to know you and sharing our story.
Katie Leonardini: VP of Operations
Katie Leonardini and her family have owned Whitehall Lane for over 25 years. Katie, VP of Operations, can be spotted in the tasting room, hosting private events, and representing the winery at numerous hospitality, fund raising and public relations events. In our short history, Whitehall Lane has developed into a world-class winery. The efforts of the Leonardini Family are evident in the recent run of accolades from wine publications but are even more apparent in the beautifully made, elegant wines we continue to make.
Katie earned her degree in Political Science at Gonzaga University in Washington. She spent many years in the financial services industry in San Francisco before moving to Philadelphia. When she confirmed to herself that California was the place to be, she headed back West and landed in Napa Valley. She’s been working with her family at Whitehall Lane ever since.
